The Top Gun Miramar Chronograph is powered by the new in-house caliber 89365, as opposed to the Valjoux/ETA 7750 which previously powered the older version. This is a significant upgrade. The new caliber features a flyback function, a massive 168-hour power reserve and IWC claims, "it is one of the most advanced and robust chronographs ever produced."
The case is made of grey ceramic (zirconium oxide), which is virtually scratch proof. The dial is a matte anthracite color that is contrasted by camouflage colored beige hands and chapter ring, along with a green textile strap. Titanium case back, pushers, crown and buckle complete the look.
