Hey everybody, I'm back on my blogging. Been away for a couple of days due to technical difficulties. Weekend was great, Hit a lot of new joints on Sirius Satellite Radio / Shade 45 (The Gomez Brothers Show / The G-Spot Radio Show), this past Saturday. Did a CRAZY Scarface set, shouts to all the people who called the show and made their requests. After the show I hung around the studio to work on some music. On my way out of the station I stopped by to say what's up to DJ Self on his weekly Saturday show on Hip Hop Nation, and ended up sitting in as a guest on the show; shouts to Self, S. Dot, and the entire crew. After bouncing from the station I went to meet up with EP and bartender magician Mike C for drinks, (Mike the punch was on point, LOL). Sunday was a good relaxing day, and my NY Giants beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in tough game. Well I'm out, should be crazy week with DJ Eric Cubeechee and DJ Mr. Mauricio in town this week.

Fantasy Football Nightmare
Please take a look at this picture, The guy on the right may have cost me my Fantasy Football season with a B.S. overtime injury. That's right Tony Romo is out of football for 4 weeks with a broken finger. Being that I'm a NY Giants fan maybe I should be happy about this but I'm not. The reason I'm not happy is because Romo gets me BIG numbers when he is out on the field, and that's even when he plays the Giants. So now I have to make due with Jacksonville Jaguar quarterback David Garrard and hope he gets me some numbers until Mr. Jessica Simpson gets back. This sucks

Well yall I'm back from a much needed relaxing weekend. On Friday I culminated the end of the week by attending the New Era Party for the MSTRKRFT hat release with my boy DJ Bri-G. The open bar was off the hook and MSTRKRFT was killing it on the 1's & 2's (Those guys were killing a bottle of Crown Royal by themselves while they were spinning, LOL). Shouts to Jennifer from New Era for the invite and the hat, also shouts to photographer Johnny Nunez, Richard Cruz (Vital Marketing), Girard Hunt, Ous, J "Ink" Robinson (Bombin Magazine), Todd Thomas (Vibe Magazine), Benjamin Falvo (Dream Store), and Odhiambo Okeyo (Rawcite) who were all in attendance. After the party Bri-G and I hit up Cozy's for some food because drinking on an empty stomach is not a good way to get the night started, LOL. After getting some food in our system we decided to walk over to the meatpacking district to go check out Bri-G's boy DJ Anthony Batista spin @ The Inn. When we got there the place was rammed from top to bottom and Anthony was putting it down on the set. The crowd was good and the 2 bottles of Grey Goose kept us going all night, LOL. Shouts to my boy Mike C (The ILLEST BARTENDER in NYC) who came by to meet with us. I left the spot at 3:30 to go recover from all the alcohol abuse, LOL....................

I really don't watch any television unless it relates to ESPN and sports, LOL. With that being said I have watched NBC's "My Name Is Earl" partly because my boy DJ Eric Cubichee is engaged to Jaime Pressley (She is reaaaallly down to earth), and because I think that actor Jason Lee is a genious (i.e. Vince Vaughn, Seth Rogan, Will Ferrell). When I watched the show there was HOT looking chick who was a regular on the show, but i didn't know who she was , well now I know.....her name.....Nadine Velasquez.

Thursday Night In The Streets Of New York
Last night was another fun night out on the town, hit up a restaurant Delicatessen on Lafayette & Spring St. for dinner and drinks. Shouts to Def Jam's Shakir Stewart who was also there. The headed over to a bar where I met up with Sony BMG's Dante Thompson, Universal's Gary Spangler, and Island Def Jam's West Coaster Mike Chester for some more drinks before we headed to the Main Event of the night DJ Vice's B-Day Party. After the bar we headed to Marquee, this party was the place to be last night. Shouts to my boy Vice who was told me I was better dressed than him and it was his birthday, LOL. Shouts to Sujit from S.K.A.M. Artist who put the party together. Shouts to Ebro who helped recover my Prada shades, LOL. Shouts to all the the DJ's in the building. DJ Mr. Mauricio, DJ M.O.S., DJ Kiss, DJ Roctakon, DJ Erik Lapeau, DJ Gee Spin, DJ Bri-G, DJ DJ Mic Boogie, and DJ Shonuff. There was a million people at the party, my apologies if I left out any people but the Grey Goose & Patron was flowing all night and the music was ROCKING!!!!!! Happy Birthday Vice

It was another eventful Wednesday night in NYC yesterday. It started off with the Jadakiss listening session the Roc The Mic studios in midtown. Jadakiss was there and shouts to DJ Gee Spin, DJ S&S, DJ Mister Cee, DJ Kast-One, DJ Big Ben, DJ Camilo, DJ Bobby Trends, DJ Envy, DJ Kut, DJ Suss-One, DJ Self, DJ Will, DJ J-Love who were all in attendance. Jadakiss's upcoming album "Kiss My Ass" has alot of bangers on it. Looking forward to it's release. Also shouts to the beautiful Beyonce who was in recording studio B, she's is one BAD lady.
The next stop was the Malibu party @ Hiro where my boy DJ Mr. Mauricio put it down 4 reallllll. Shouts to my boy Rich from Vital Marketing for the invite. We all then headed over to my boy DJ M.O.S.'s Birthday party @ The Rivington Hotel. The place was rammed shouts to DJ Kiss, DJ D-Nice, DJ Eric Lapeau, DJ Peter Parker, DJ Commish, and photographer Johnny Nunez who were in the building. After Rivington I broke with DJ Erik Lapeau and we headed over to DJ Roctakon's B-Day Party @ 179 McDougal Street (Don't Know The Name Of The Spot, LOL)It was a good crowd and Chicago house music legend DJ Mike Dunn was killing it on the 1's & 2'. Shouts to DJ Clear who was also there. The last stop of the night was One Oak where we reunited with DJ Mr. Maurcio who was getting on the set @ 2AM, the place was packed and Busta Rhymes showed up. Then Maurcio. DJ Berrie, & DJ Eric Lapeau proceeded to give the crowd a show by setting up 3 labtops and taking turns playing songs, it was CLASSIC SHIT!!!! Shouts to Jive Records Norjon Hedman and Universal's Gary Marella who were in attendance. I didn't make it home until 4:30am and tonight we go at it again for DJ Vice's B-Day party @ Marquee. Patron Time!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. Shouts to Darryl "D.M.C." Simmons who was at the Rivington Hotel party, I had the pleasure of conversating with a living legend. How many people get the opportunity to do that?

I was at this party last night and it was NUTZ. DJ Grandmaster Flash did his thing on the 1's & 2's. I didn't catch the performances by N.E.R.D. & Nas because they took too long to jump on stage. So shouts to Miss Info for recording this snippet of the performance by Nas. I have to say with all the rumors about this alleged Kelis sex tape, it's good to see that Nas has her back. We will see how strong that relationship is when that video hits the streets.

Well folks all good things must come to an end, and there goes Kimbo Slice's perfect record. The introductions lasted longer than the match itself and it took a 28 year old virtually unknown Seth Petruzelli with a 9-4 record to expose Kimbo's weakness. This is the world of MMA Kimbo, if you are going to succeed here you better start to learn how to put your street fighting ways in check and learn how to fight in the ring or this will the first of many losses.
