New Article: Madden NFL 12 Has Giants Beating Patriots In Super Bowl XLVI

Sunday, February 5, 2012

Eli Manning, true to form in 2011, will lead the Giants on a scoring drive in the final two minutes of Super Bowl XLVI and Big Blue will defeat New England, 27-24, and raise the Lombardi Trophy in Indianapolis on Sunday.

Don't choke on your buffalo wing! We're not here to make a bold prediction, that's just the way the game turned out in the annual Madden NFL 12 simulation.

The video game gurus have it all coming down to a Lawrence Tynes field goal with three seconds remaining to clinch it, which fulfills a dream he revealed in Monday's Daily News. Funny how that works out, right?

It's pure speculation, of course, but the Madden simulation has correctly picked the winner in six of the last eight Super Bowls. The two it missed on were last year's game (they had the Steelers winning) and Super Bowl XLII, and we all know how that turned out. (SOURCE)
