Adam Leon's award-winning feature film "Gimme The Loot", takes place in and around New York City and Brooklyn/Queens. The indie drama stars newcomers Ty Hickson as Malcolm and Tashiana Washington as Sofia, two young "writers" from New York, in what is essentially a modern teenage love story. Gimme the Loot is written and directed by New York filmmaker Adam Leon, making his feature debut after the short “Killer" previously. It first premiered at the SXSW Film Festival in 2012 and also played the Cannes, Los Angeles and San Francisco Film Festivals. This was shot entirely in/around New York City and it’s being released in limited theaters on March 22nd.
