Fading Gigolo is written and directed by John Turturro (director of Romance & Cigarettes, star of Transformers and O Brother Where Art Thou?). In the film, iconic director Woody Allen takes a role outside of his own films for the first time in over a decade to play a bookseller-turned-pimp to a middle-aged neophyte hustler (Turturro), in this New York City comedy. Bob Balaban, Vanessa Paradis, Liev Schreiber, Sharon Stone and Sofia Vergara also star in the film which premiered at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival and Millennium Entertainment releases in limited theaters on April 18th this spring.
