New Trailer: Grudge Match

Grudge Match is directed by Peter Segal (Tommy Boy, My Fellow Americans, 50 First Dates) with a script from "Entourage" creator Doug Ellin and "Late Show with David Letterman" scribe Rodney Rothman. The story unites Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro, known for iconic turns as boxers in Rocky and Raging Bull respectively, as two bitter boxing rivals who are coaxed back into the ring for a grudge match 50 years after they fought for the title. Kevin Hart, Alan Arkin, Kim Basinger and Jon Bernthal also star in the film which Warner Bros. Pictures will bring to theaters on Christmas Day, December 25th, this winter.

We have a design ready to be manufactured and produced for the IPhone 5. With the headphone jack at the bottom of the phone, this case design is so much easier to maneuver into your pockets. Our challenge is that we need to get to 1000 backers, for production of the IPhone 5 cases along with the IPhone 4/4s cases. You will be able to save the same 10" or 20" of cord length with the IPhone 5 design. Here it is, check it out.

Process/Progress 

The idea for the Cordli iPhone case was born of a need to create a discreet storage space for the commonly seen audio cords that come with many of the commercially available hi def audio cans. Aki (creator), an audiophile with not a lot of extra pocket room for his iPhone and excess cord length with his Dr. Dre headphones, developed a 2D mechanical layout of a proposed design. From there, a 3D CAD design was developed which was then used to produce a rigid 3D printed version of the pre-manufactured design. This prototype was used to illustrate the general look and feel of the product but was not sufficient to demonstrate the flexibility in material needed to fully evaluate a production quality silicone. This first initial 3D printed case led to a change in the design of the cord storage recesses (adding in additional length for chord storage) and also taking the bend radius for chords and depth of channels into consideration. The next step was to create a rapid mold used to cast parts in a urethane material. Several pre-production units were produced off of the mold and then evaluated. The parts were evaluated in the categories of form, fit and function. It was determined that 1. the design of the cable routing had been optimized for varying lengths of cord storage 2. strain on cables had been minimized by using a specific bend radius in the cable runs 3. cables were retained well and cable diameters were flush with the exterior cosmetic surfaces of the case thereby eliminating any snag points and potential usability issues. The limited sample run successfully produced parts that were defect free and ultimately validated the capability of the manufacturer / supplier chosen to mass produce the end product. (CLICK HERE FOR LINK)

OmniCorp envisions a RoboCop in every city and even more billions for their shareholders, but they never counted on one thing: there is still a man inside the machine pursuing justice. Gary Oldman and Michael Keaton also star in RoboCop from director Jose Padilha and writer James Vanderbilt (The Amazing Spider-Man). Sony Pictures sends the film to theaters on February 7th, 2014.

New Tech: Sony 3-in-1 Walkman WH Series

Sony‘s ubiquitous Walkman has come a long way since its initial introduction in Japan in 1979. From its humble beginnings as the TPS-L2 cassette player more than three decades ago, the Walkman now finds itself as a 3-in-1 digital music player/headphones-speaker design courtesy of Sony’s Walkman WH Series. The comfy over-ear designs offer either 30mm or 40mm dome type headphone driver units along with built-in stereo surround sound speakers that can be activated with the flip of a switch. Compatible with both Mac and Windows, the built-in music player offers storage for up to 4,000 tracks and supports a wide range of formats including MP3, WMA, AAC-LC and Linear PCM. New Tech: LG 82 inch “Ultra HD” TV Advertisement Prank

World's scariest interview - or just a great publicity stunt?

Either way, LG Electronics in Chile is wowing the world with its latest amusing TV advert.

The spot sees a host of job applicants entering a fake office to be interviewed for a job with the prestigious firm.

As the questioner looks at their resume the blue sky in the window behind starts to turn black before a meteor emerges and crashes into the city.

The lights go out and the terrified applicant is left groping around in the dark.

But then the lights go on - and it's revealed that the "window" is in fact the electronics firm's latest 82-inch "Ultra HD" TV.

The premise is that the images are so life-like, and the sound so realistic, that viewers can't tell the difference between real or virtual.

Uploaded to YouTube last Monday, the "prankvertisement" has since gone viral and been seen more than 1.4 million times.

There's been much speculation that actors were used to play the part of the applicants, but LG has so far offered no comment on the claims. (SOURCE)

In the film a young couple (Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne) suffering from arrested development are forced to live next to a rowdy and obnoxious fraternity house after the birth of their newborn baby. Zac Efron, Dave Franco and Christopher Mintz-Plasse all play frat boys and Lisa Kudrow and Jake Johnson also have supporting roles in the Universal Pictures comedy that's slated to hit theaters next summer on May 9th, 2014.

New Tech: Sony HMZ-T3W Head-Mounted Wireless Display
