Currently, the custom-radio market is dominated by Pandora but with Apple’s already established online music presence and its massive base of hardware, the company could dominate the market as it has done with many of its other endeavors. Apple is reportedly seeking licenses that would let it sidestep many of the restrictions that other companies like Pandora face, such as playing the same song multiple times.
