New Article: NY Giants Super Bowl Champion Rings Leaked

Friday, March 30, 2012

A Big Blue bench warmer jumped off sides yesterday, prematurely flashing pictures of what he and his Giants teammates may soon be wearing for their Super Bowl XLVI win. Linebacker Clint Sintim, who missed the entire season on injured reserve, risked going on permanent reserve after he tweeted images of the hardware. The ring’s design is supposed to be a secret until a May 16 gala at Tiffany’s. Sintim, a second-round 2009 pick from Virginia, posted the picture with the caption “Sneak Preview!” He later sheepishly removed it, tweeting, “Saw the ring online not official yet . . . official release will be presented by Giants organization . . . Sorry.” The ring in Sintim’s picture is predominantly silver with big blue chips around the crown. It also has four footballs across the top. Teammate Justin Tuck weighed in on Twitter: “People, I don’t know who started the post of the ring. But we haven’t decided on the final ring yet". ”Asked if Sintim’s picture was the winning ring design, Giants VP Pat Hanlon would say only that he believes the bling is still being drawn up by a jeweler."It’s under design, I know,” Hanlon said. “I do not know if it’s been finalized.”

New Tech: New MacBook Pro????

Thursday, March 29, 2012

The rumor mill on Apple’s MacBook Pro Summer 2012 update is coming to life, and it’s none other than Intel who is doing the stirring. The chip manufacturers appear to be setting up delivery of their Ivy Bridge quad-core processors (specifically, the Core i7) by late April, and are expected to be in the Apple machines shortly thereafter — just in time for a formal announcement at Apple’s yearly WWDC event in June. If true, this MacBook revision would be a historical one, seeing Apple drop the optical disk drive altogether in favor of digital data delivered via USB (SOURCE)

New Trailer: The Hunger Games

Friday, March 23, 2012

The Hunger Games is both written and directed by Oscar nominated filmmaker Gary Ross, director of Seabiscuit and Pleasantville previously, but also writer of Big, Mr. Baseball, Dave, Lassie, Pleasantville and Seabiscuit. It's adapted from Suzanne Collins' popular series of novels, first published in 2008.

Jennifer Lawrence stars as Katniss, a 16-year-old living in the post-apocalyptic country of Panem. Every year, one boy and one girl are chosen from each of Panem's 12 districts to fight each other to their death. Josh Hutcherson plays Peeta, the boy chosen from District 12 for the Hunger Games with Katniss.

The Hunger Games arrives in theaters today. It couldn't be more unlike Twilight, but it is a fantastic, dark, thrilling post-apocalyptic action movie that has the rumblings of something epic. To give you an idea of how epic this world is, and show you one last time why this movie is worth seeing, Lionsgate has unveiled one final 60-sec "Countdown Event" TV spot (via Facebook). By the end of this you should be as excited to see it as possible, and they barely show any of the actual Hunger Game either. Do not miss! May the odds be ever in your favor......

New Video: Will Ferrell En Espanol On Jimmy Kimmel

Wednesday, March 14, 2012

Will Ferrell is going out of his way to remind folks that his upcoming movie, Casa de Mi Padre, is entirely in Spanish.

On last night's Jimmy Kimmel Live, Ferrell and Kimmel conducted the entire interview (complete with subtitles) in what Ferrell referred to as "the international language of love."

Following his grand entrance on a fake horse pulled by a couple of briefs-wearing musclemen, Ferrell sat down to chat about his flick, which he considers a viable contender at next year's Oscars.

"If a silent movie can win, why not one which is made in Spanish?" he noted en español.

Ferrell went on explain how his Spanish-speaking skills are now flawless—"It's like the orange juice on top of a library"—thanks to watching about 400 hours of Dora the Explorer.

Ferrell also made an appearance last night on The Daily Show, where he told Jon Stewart (in English this time) that he learned Spanish specifically for the film.

Hmmm, maybe the guy can be a telenovela star, after all.

New Retina Display – The new iPad’s Retina display delivers four times the number of pixels of iPad 2, so dense that the human eye is unable to distinguish individual pixels when held at a normal distance, making web pages, text, images and video look incredibly sharp and realistic. The 3.1 million pixels in the Retina display are more than one million more pixels than an HD TV, and with 44 percent increased color saturation the new iPad displays colors that are unbelievably richer, deeper and more vivid. A5X Chip – The powerful new A5X chip with quad-core graphics was specifically designed by Apple to deliver a fast, responsive user experience while supporting the incredible Retina display. With double the graphics performance of the A5 chip, the A5X provides a superb balance between performance and power efficiency so users can enjoy all the benefits of the stunning new display while experiencing a smooth Multi-Touch™ interface, immersive gameplay, incredible visual depth and all-day battery life that iPad is known for delivering.

iSight Camera – The 5 megapixel iSight camera features advanced optics for taking stunning pictures and recording full HD video. Backside illumination allows you to take great photos in low-light conditions and a new video image stabilization feature removes the bumps and shakes typically seen when filming with a hand-held device. Images can be enjoyed on the large Retina display, then edited, enhanced and easily shared with friends and family using the built-in Photos app on iPad.

Network Connectivity – iPad Wi-Fi + 4G with built-in next generation 4G LTE has the most comprehensive support for fast networks worldwide including HSPA+ and DC-HSDPA, and now both CDMA and GSM iPad users have the ability to easily roam internationally. The world-ready iPad delivers blazing download and upload speeds so web pages load incredibly quickly and email with large attachments can be sent and received easily. Personal Hotspot can be used to share the fast network connection on your iPad with up to 5 other devices using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or USB**.

iOS 5.1 – With iOS 5.1, the latest update to the world’s most advanced mobile operating system, the new iPad has a number of new features and enhancements including: a redesigned Camera app with video stabilization technology; the ability to delete photos from Photo Stream; support for dictation in English, French, German and Japanese; and Personal Hotspot. iOS 5.1 also works seamlessly with iCloud®, a breakthrough set of free cloud services including iTunes® in the Cloud, Photo Stream and Documents in the Cloud, that works seamlessly with your iPhone®, iPad, iPod touch®, Mac® or PC to automatically and wirelessly store your content and push it to your devices. Dictation Support – The new iPad also supports dictation, another amazing way to get things done just using your voice. Instead of typing, tap the microphone icon on the keyboard, then say what you want to say and the new iPad listens. Tap done, and iPad converts your words into text. You can use dictation to write messages, take notes, search the web and more. Dictation also works with third-party apps, so you can update your Facebook status, tweet, or write Instagram captions.

iPhoto App – Apple also introduced the iPhoto® app, along with major updates to iMovie® and GarageBand®, completing its suite of iLife® apps for iOS. iLife and the iWork® apps, Pages®, Keynote® and Numbers®, have all been updated to take advantage of the new iPad Retina display. iPhoto includes breakthrough Multi-Touch features so you can use simple gestures to sort through hundreds of photos and find your best shots, enhance and retouch your images using fingertip brushes and share stunning photo journals with iCloud. iMovie now gives you the ability to create amazing Hollywood-style trailers as you record HD video, and GarageBand introduces Jam Session, an innovative and fun new feature that allows a group of friends to wirelessly connect to play instruments and record music together live on their iOS devices.
